The Crew

Built by Hand. Set by the Same Hands.

Sterling carpenters are not subbed out. They are the same crew that runs the bench, sprays the finish, and loads the truck. When a project leaves our shop, it leaves with the carpenter who built it — and that carpenter is on site when it goes in.

That continuity matters. The person setting the casework already knows how it was built, where it was scribed, and what the tolerance is on the back panel. Nothing gets translated through a third party.

What We Do

The Finish Carpentry Scope.

The trades that make a building feel resolved — the ones the eye reads last, where every joint has to land clean.

Carpenter routing a trim profile by hand

Architectural Trim

Crown, base, casing, chair rail, and custom-milled profiles. Coped, mitered, and set so the joints disappear.

Casework & Built-Ins

Reception desks, counters, executive built-ins, and credenzas — delivered, scribed, and installed in place.

Doors & Hardware

Commercial and residential doors, frames, jambs, and hardware fit-out. Hung to swing clean and stay quiet.

Paneling & Walls

Wainscoting, full-height paneling, slatted feature walls, and coffered ceilings. Pre-finished in the shop, set on site.

In the Field

On Site With the GC.

Most of the work we install is in active buildings — corporate floors, restaurants mid-fit-out, healthcare suites with a hard occupancy date. Our install carpenters work alongside GCs and other trades the way it should go: on schedule, off the punch list, out by Friday.

  • Field measure and site coordination
  • Sequenced delivery and staging
  • Scribe-and-fit installation of casework and panels
  • Trim, door, and hardware fit-out
  • Punch and closeout walkthroughs
